Travel diary Croatia day 2: Sunburn vs Jill, Tine and myself 0-1

Halloooo!

Day 2 has come and gone and man was it hot oO But we didn't get sunburned which is an unclassified success (as Fear from Inside Out would say x)).

The day started off pretty lazy. By half 10 we left our room to look for some breakfast. Turned out that task was slightly more difficult than anticipated. But hey, after that car fiasco yesterday, we can handle something small as finding breakfast as well ;)

After breakfast, we walk up the island of old town next to the shore to the Sea Organ. It's a pretty cool thing to hear. Underneath some stairs are a few pipes, which work like a normal organ, but instead of wind, the waves rolling in the pipes will make the sounds. It's a very soothing sound and we've sat for a good hour with our feet in the water, listening to the 'music'.

Eventually we made our way more down town. We did some sightseeing. A church, some small streets, etc. But it was actually too hot to have a proper look around. Not to worry mum and dad, we made sure we did not get dehydrated ;) You've raised smart kids! Because we are such geniuses, we called it a day in town centre and headed to the beach near our hotel. From 3 til 6.30pm we sat near the seaside, we slept a bit, we swam a bit, nothing too exhausting in these crazy temperatures! We applied sun screne on a very regular basis, we bought some waterproof slipper so we won't cut our toes on the many many rocks in the sea, we drank a lot of water, etc.

Around 8pm we made sure we were back in the old town near the shore as the sunset in Zadar is one of the most beautiful ones in the world. Whoever said that, I agree! Holy guacamole!

Of course we took the opportunity to take a lot of photos^^ Like the proper tourists that we are x) And no, they will not see the daylight on this blog ;)

After sunset we had dinner (delicious pizza) and afterwards we walked back to the Sea Organ just to enjoy the sound of the sea making some music. If you have a romanic stroll on the boulevard on Zadar in mind, don't bother. It was packed with people. Young, old, etc...

So it was a late one again today. My apologies for the many errors in this blog post. I just can't be bothered to have a spell check. I just want to go to sleep ^^

Thanks for reading!
